Working with BU Style is a long-term investment in yourself, and this package is the first step toward creating a wardrobe that aligns with your lifestyle, goals, and self-expression. Together, you and your style strategist will take a thoughtful, intentional approach to defining your unique style in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
Once you book, this collaborative journey unfolds over 90 days, giving you the time and space to build a solid foundation. Because everyone starts from a different place, we’ve built in flexibility to ensure each step meets you exactly where you are—so you can move forward with confidence.

Before your first session, we’ll set you up with all of your BU Style resources, give you an online tour, and guide you in sharing your style needs and goals.

Review your current wardrobe with your Style Strategist to determine what to keep, tailor, or let go. This session refines your style direction and helps create your Strategic Shopping List (SSL) for intentional future purchases.

The Shop journey will be based on the needs uncovered during your Strategize session and could include ONE of the following options:
One comprehensive 2.5-hour in-person Shop + a follow-up online Refine Shop
Two 90-minute in-person Shops
One Custom Clothing Selection process (includes 2 tailor appointments) + an online Refine Shop

Bring it all together! Using new and existing pieces, we’ll create complete outfits tailored to your lifestyle, ensuring your wardrobe works cohesively and feels authentic to you.

After each session, your Virtual Wardrobe is updated. New purchases are added to your Virtual Closet, and styled outfits are uploaded to your Virtual Lookbook. You’ll have lifetime access and can easily view everything from your computer or smartphone.
Why do I need a Kickoff Call?
The Kickoff Call is an essential first step in your style journey, designed to set you up for success. Before your first session, we’ll guide you through onboarding and pre-work, including taking your BU Style Six assessment, which helps us understand your unique style approach.
During this call, we’ll introduce you to your Virtual Closet tool, walk you through the Strategize, Shop, Style process, and review all the BU Style resources available to you. You’ll also have the opportunity to start sharing your style needs, goals, and challenges, so we can tailor the journey to fit you from day one.
This conversation ensures that when we begin working together, you’ll feel prepared, supported, and ready to make the most of every session.

What is a Wardrobe Session?
Your first Wardrobe Session is a key part of the Strategize process, setting the stage for a wardrobe that feels aligned, intentional, and truly you. Your Strategize, Shop, Style package also includes the flexibility for multiple Wardrobe Sessions, allowing us to focus more on refining and maximizing your existing pieces for those who need less shopping.
During a Wardrobe Session, your stylist will evaluate your wardrobe for the current season, identifying which items to keep, tailor, or let go. But this isn’t just about fit and color—your lifestyle, personality, and style goals play a key role in shaping a wardrobe that works for you, not just on you.
By the end of each session, we’ll have greater clarity on what belongs in your wardrobe and why. Your Style Strategist will also build your Strategic Shopping List (SSL), ensuring that any future shopping is purposeful and focused on filling the right gaps.

How does the Shop process work?
Shopping is more complex than ever—between evolving trends, personal budgets, and unique wardrobe needs, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why we offer customized, collaborative shopping experiences to help you navigate the process with clarity and purpose.
Finding the right pieces takes time, strategy, and patience. While we can’t guarantee we’ll check everything off your list immediately, shopping is about more than just the purchase—it’s about gaining insight into what works for you. Each step refines your style, sharpens your eye, and makes future shopping more intentional and aligned with your personal style.

A 2.5-hour shopping session with pieces pre-selected by your stylist based on your Strategic Style List (SSL). We’ll focus on style discovery and education while filling key wardrobe gaps. Afterward, you’ll receive an online Refine Shop (7–10 curated pins) to continue meeting your needs.

Two 90-minute shopping sessions designed to approach your wardrobe needs in phases. This format offers a flexible, focused experience—whether we're exploring different store locations, continuing style discovery, or sourcing specific pieces that aren't all found in one place.
Note: An online Refine Shop is not included with this option.

Your stylist will lead the selection of custom garments and guide you through two fittings with a tailor. After your custom pieces are under way, we’ll provide an online Refine Shop of 7–10 pins to ensure the rest of your wardrobe works seamlessly with what’s being created.
What happens in the Style session?
The Style Session is where we bring your wardrobe to life. Your Style Strategist will put together complete outfits using both new and existing pieces, showing you how to make the most of what you own while integrating any new additions.
This session is about refining your style, building confidence in your wardrobe, and giving you a clear vision of how to put outfits together. Whether you need polished work looks, casual everyday outfits, or something in between, we’ll create combinations that feel natural, authentic, and aligned with your personal style.

Your Strategize, Shop, Style Deliverables
Following each session, your stylist strategist will update your Virtual Wardrobe. Your deliverables will contain the following:
Wardrobe purchases will be added to your Virtual Closet.
Styled looks will be uploaded to your Virtual Lookbook.
You will be able to access your Virtual Wardrobe directly from your computer or smartphone homescreen. Lifetime access is included.
*The noted hours are specifically the client’s time investment. Also included in the package price is your style strategist’s prep and follow-up time, including research, pre-shopping, coordination with retailers, Virtual Wardrobe updates, and more.

We serve all clients within walking distance of the New York MTA subway system or PATH trains. Select stylists serve clients in the Tri-state area. For those clients, there is an additional fee of $175 per roundtrip.

We believe fashion should be accessible to all and style is deeply individual. We provide corporate style consulting as well as personal client shopping and styling services for men, women, and non-binary individuals in New York City and virtually.

Making wise purchases starts with a plan. We call it a Strategic Shopping List (SSL). It is a very specific list of your wardrobe needs agreed upon by you and your Style Strategist.
Your SSL guides your Style Strategist in connecting you with retailers offering brands, styles, price points, sizes, and colors that best fit YOU.

A coredrobe are foundational pieces that can be layered and mixed to create a variety of outfits. There are no set rules or minimum quantities.
