    We want you to get maximum mileage out of your wardrobe. As trained image professionals, we use our technical knowledge and our cognitive approach to create your unique style brand.

    We believe in teaching you to purchase pieces that work for you so that you can make confident decisions.

  • Yes! We understand that hiring a stylist is very personal. We offer two services for our new clients: a Strategy Session and an NYC Wardrobe Session.

    The Strategy Session is ideal for those looking to make sure they are ready to work with BU Style.

    This 45-minute session will be used to begin to discover your unique mix of style personalities and how BU Style can help you reach your goals.

    And the end of this session, you can continue to strategically build on your style brand with our Existing Client offerings.

  • Making wise purchases starts with a plan. We call it a Strategic Shopping List (SSL). It is a very specific list of your wardrobe needs agreed upon by you and your Style Strategist.

    Your SSL guides your Style Strategist in connecting you with retailers offering brands, styles, price points, sizes, and colors that best fit YOU.

    Why is a Strategic Shopping List useful?

    1. it eliminates repeat buying

    2. it encourages pairing new with old

    3. it reduces unnecessary spend

    Prior to the initial shop session, you will receive a link via email to review and approve your SSL.

    Upon approval of your SSL, you have 60 days to schedule and complete the Shop sessions; whereas, the package and any remaining sessions will expire.

  • A memo is a try-on-at-home agreement between you (the buyer) and a retailer (the owner).

    This shop option is coordinated by your Style Strategist and allows you to receive merchandise right to your door.

    You only pay for what you keep and send the rest back within a certain timeframe.

    Why is a memo convenient?

    1. It does not charge your credit card upfront

    2. It allows you to try on merchandise at home

    3. It often includes free shipping and returns

    A memo is not ideal if . . .

    —you are in the beginning of style exploration

    —you are unclear on your general sizing

    —you are not planning on purchasing

    A memo is available with participating retailers and with an active BU Style service.
