Service Highlight: Wardrobe Session

With the change of season, it is a great time to set the tone for the upcoming months. April, in particular, brings more sunlight and blooming flowers. With warmer weather ahead, we can put away heavy sweaters and bring out lighter clothes. Before you dive into your closet, and to avoid being overwhelmed, take a moment to make a plan of attack.

If you’re looking for style support, a BU Style Strategist can guide you through a Wardrobe Session experience by keeping you focused on your style goals and showing you how to get the most out of your current wardrobe. Here is how it works:

Step 1: Strategy Call

During this time, you and your Style Strategist will talk about the results of your BU Style Six™ Assessment to start exploring or keep working on your style brand and wardrobe needs. Together you will identify your session’s priorities and make an action plan.

Step 2: Wardrobe Session

Based on the goals determined in our Strategy Call, your session may include the following:

—Closet Cull: Review the seasonal item in your closet to make sure they fit properly and align with your Style Personality and goals. Keep, consign or donate.
—Outfit Styling: Your style strategist will help you put together outfits with what is currently in your closet and photograph them
—Seasonal Shopping List: After reviewing and trying fit, your stylist will make suggestions that will help you make the most out of your closet.
—Trip Planning and Packing: If you are planning a trip and need help with your outfits, this session can help you think through and pack

This time is yours! Your style strategist will help you focus and guide you through the process.

Step 3: Consultation Recap

Your Style Strategist will recap the session and update your BU Style Files. Also, you will get one of the  following:

—Seasonal Shopping List: An itemized list that you can use on your next shopping trip
—Virtual Lookbook: Your personalized catalogue with all the outfit combinations you put together during the session. You will get a link for unlimited access.
—Virtual Fitting Room: 3 to 5 specific recommendations based on your Style Personality and needs
—Customized Style Plan: This will guide you through exploring and creating your Style Brand.

Things have changed in the past year, and you may find items in your closet don’t serve their purpose or just don’t feel like you anymore. To keep a clutter-free wardrobe your Style Strategist may suggest items to cull as well as key items that will help you make the most out of what remains.

Also, to be mindful about the environment and your wallet, we will identify items that can be consigned and/or sold to one of our community partners, True Fashionista. We’ll be happy to make the introduction!

We can’t wait to start the process and help you BE YOU.
